Alpi Pioneer 300

Topfun have recently acquired an Alpi Pioneer P300 Kite aircraft so pilots can experience a more complex, faster, and higher performance aircraft after learning to fly in the Jabiru J170.

The P300 is a low wing monoplane with Rotax 912S (100HP) engine and cruises around 110 knots. Its climb performance is also better than the Jabiru J170.

The P300 is available for navigation training and hire. It compliments our fleet for those pilots looking to develop their training towards a RPL / PPL / CPL qualification.

The P300 is lighter and more agile on the controls making the J170 a better primary trainer for ab-initio students.

Jabiru J170

Topfun have 5 Jabiru J170's available for flight and navigation training and hire. The J170 sports a larger wing than the earlier J160 which allows a lower landing speed and more stability in flight, making it a less demanding aircraft and a pleasure to fly.

Taylorcraft L-2M

Topfun have a 1943 Taylorcraft L-2M online and available for flight training and tailwheel conversions. The L-2M was used by the United States Army Air Force during World War II operations as an observation and liaison aircraft. Only 900 L-2M variants were built worldwide.

Pre-flight Brief and Post-flight Debrief: – All rates are inclusive of all flight briefings and debriefs.

Flight Testing Fee: – An administrative fee of $50.00 for flight tests applies. A flight test is deemed to be a flight for the issuance of a Pilot Certificate and/or a Cross Country Endorsement, and BFRs.
